Go Chicago Promotion (the “Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions
- The promoter is the Illinois Bureau of Tourism of 100 West Randolph, Suite 3-400 Chicago, IL 60601 (the “Promoter”)
- The Promotion is only open to those who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of the Illinois Bureau of Tourism, JWT or any other agency involved in the Promotion may not enter.
- By entering the Promotion, participants agree:
- that they are eligible to enter the Promotion;
- to be bound by these terms and conditions;
- that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize;
- that if required to do so, they will provide a photographic ID document (passport, driving licence or similar) for the purposes of confirming their identity;
- that should they win the Promotion, their name and likeness may be used for such pre-arranged promotional purposes as the Promoter may be reasonably require.
- Participants must send a text message reading “CHICAGO” to 87121 before noon on 31/8/2008 in order to enter the Promotion.
- All text messages will be charged at the standard network rate.
- One winner will be selected at random from the entries made (the “Winners”).
- Winners will receive a free trip to Chicago, USA. The prize shall be:
- return economy class flights from a London airport to Chicago;
- Three (3) nights’ accommodation, and
- $250 to spend during the trip.
- The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- The name and county of residence of the winners may be obtained by sending a SAE to the Promoter at the address above within two months of the closing date of the Promotion.
- JWT reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and to amend or withdraw the Promotion as necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
- JWT excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring, whether arising in contract, tort (including without limitation negligence), statutory duty or otherwise, to the participant arising from his or her entry into the Promotion or to the winners arising from their acceptance of the Prizes.
- The Promotion is subject to the laws of England and the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
